Our Team

A Little Bit About Me

Jerome Meyer began his training at QUT in Brisbane (graduating with a BA in Acting), intensively studying the Eric Morris Technique under the mentorship of Charles Allen (who was accredited in the technique by Morris himself). Since graduating, Jerome has spent much of his down time training in America: both in New York at the internationally acclaimed Atlantic Acting School; and in Los Angeles under world renowned teacher Ivana Chubbuck. Jerome began working as an acting coach in early 2017 and since then has seen several high-profile actors (such as Tim Franklin, Jake Ryan and  Ryan Corr – who secured his role on Game of Thrones: House of the Dragon through auditions directed by Jerome). In 2022 Jerome took up the role of Head Lecturer for the Acting Foundations unit at JMC Academy in Melbourne and Sydney (where he still teaches today). Jerome has also spent the last decade producing, writing and directing films in both the creative and commercial space (including the kick-starter funded comedy iAm released online to audience acclaim and the feature film Venus & Adonis co-directed with Artistic Director of Sport for Jove Theatre Company, Damien Ryan). His directorial debut – feature film LoveBirds (co-produced with Breathless Films and Strange Paradise) is currently in post-production and set to be released in 2026. As an actor Jerome’s break-out role was as the titular charter of Joe Cinque in Joe Cinque’s Consolation (official selection TIFF, 2016). Also skilled in live performance Jerome has been a member of the ensemble cast for Sport for Jove Theatre Company since 2016. On the small screen he has appeared in Network 10’s Secrets and Lies and Channel 7’s Home & Away.

Doing Jerome’s classes has been absolutely amazing.
